I would like to comment on Geertz findings in the balinease culture which he calls deepplay. So why is it that cockfighting should be banned just beacuse it is illogical from a utiliterean and economical point of view? isn't expression through other activities better than hate and violence in society? all we need to do now is implement the same idea's of ambivilance into our own culture to stop the hate.
